Pacific Blue Launch Special - Free Airport Parking for International Passengers

As you know Pacific Blue have commenced direct services from Hamilton to Sydney and Brisbane. This means low airfares low fares to Oz and beyond, all the time.

HIA is sweetening the deal even further with a special, limited time offer of free car parking for international passengers! 

This offer is available for those international passengers flying with Pacific Blue directly from HIA to Brisbane or Sydney before 31 May 2010 and returning direct to HIA on Pacific Blue before 30 June 2010.

To redeem the Free Parking Offer:

This offer is available for those international passengers flying with Pacific Blue directly from HIA to Brisbane or Sydney who are departing before 31 May 2010 and returning direct to HIA on Pacific Blue before 30 June 2010. To redeem the Free Parking Offer:

  1. When arriving at the airport for your flight to Australia, park your vehicle in HIA’s public carpark and collect the entry ticket that is automatically dispensed at the carpark entry barrier arm. Please note that you will not receive the appropriate entry ticket if you enter HIA’s public carpark using your credit card. If you enter using your credit card then you will need to exit HIA’s public carpark and drive back in to obtain a standard parking entry ticket.
  2. Before you depart for Australia present the following to HIA’s Paper Plus store, located on the ground floor of the terminal building (the Paper Plus store is open for all international departures including those scheduled early in the morning).
        (a) your HIA Pacific Blue international boarding pass and;
        (b) your HIA public carpark entry ticket.
  3. You will be issued with a Free Parking ticket if you comply fully with the terms and conditions of this limited offer and present the items specified in paragraph 2 above to a staff member at the HIA Paper Plus store. 
  4. On arrival back from your international Pacific Blue flight, place your Free Parking ticket in the exit barrier machine (not the pay station) when leaving HIA’s public carpark.

Terms and conditions for this offer:

  • The Free Parking offer is only available to international passengers flying with Pacific Blue directly from HIA to Brisbane or Sydney and returning direct to HIA on Pacific Blue (“Pacific Blue International Passengers”).
  • This limited offer is available to Pacific Blue International Passengers departing from 1 September 2009 to 31 May 2010 (with a carpark exit date of no later than 30 June 2010).
  • Free Parking tickets can only be obtained from the Paper Plus store located on the ground floor of the terminal building at HIA (“HIA Paper Plus store”).
  • The Free Parking ticket must be obtained before departure from HIA on a Pacific Blue international flight.
  • The Free Parking ticket cannot be purchased on arrival back at HIA.
  • To obtain the Free Parking ticket you must be a Pacific Blue International Passenger and you must present the following items to a HIA Paper Plus store staff member:
    (a) HIA Pacific Blue international boarding pass; and
    (c) HIA public carpark entry ticket obtained on entry to the HIA public carpark (this must be swapped with the Free Parking Card). 
  • This offer does no apply to those passengers flying domestically to Auckland International Airport to catch an international flight and if an Auckland International boarding pass is presented, it will not be accepted.
  • All Free Parking tickets issued during the period commencing 1 September 2009 to 31 May 2010 will be valid for 1 month after issue.
  • The expiry date of the Free Parking ticket is printed on the bottom of the Free Parking ticket. If you are eligible for a Free Parking ticket then in order to receive the benefit of the Free Parking ticket you must exit HIA’s Public carpark before the expiry date printed on the Free Parking ticket.
  • On arrival back to HIA from your international Pacific Blue flight, place your Free Parking ticket in the exit barrier machine (not the pay station) when leaving HIA’s public carpark.
  • You must retain your Free Parking ticket for use when you exit HIA’s public carpark. If you do not have your Free Parking ticket when you are ready to exit HIA’s public carpark (for example you have lost your Free Parking ticket) then a lost ticket fee of NZ$95.00 will apply.
  • HIA may vary these terms and conditions by adding, altering or deleting any of them at any time without prior notice.
  • HIA may cancel any Free Parking ticket that has been issued if these terms and conditions are breached.
  • Standard parking terms and conditions, as set out on the board at the entrance to HIA’s public carpark, also apply.
