The team from Hamilton Airport competed in the Middle-Earth Halfling Marathon at the Hobbiton Movie Set on the 25th of March. Hamilton Airport were proud sponsors of this event for the second year running.
Our intrepid Group Operations Manager, Ben Langley, was the only competitor in the actual Halfling-Marathon, so here's a montage of his escapades - including the infamous "dive" into the pond from the top of the platform ...
The rest of the team did the more sedate, although also exceptionally hilly, Eleventyfirst 11.1km walk up hill and down dale.
What a wonderful event - we highly recommend you give it a go next year - it's a unique adventure that you'll remember forever!
