How do I get to Hamilton Airport?
Hamilton Airport is on Airport Road (State Highway 21), around 20 minutes south of Hamilton's CBD.
From Hamilton via SH1
Follow State Highway 1 towards Cambridge and take the Tamahere turn-off. At the first roundabout take the third exit, then continue straight through the second roundabout onto Airport Road (State Highway 21). Follow signs to Hamilton Airport, approximately 4.8 km from the Tamahere turn-off.
From Hamilton via SH3
Follow Ohaupo Road/State Highway 3 towards Te Awamutu and through Rukuhia. At the junction with State Highway 21, turn left onto Airport Road. Hamilton Airport is approximately 1.8 km along Airport Road on the left.
Situated on Airport Rd on State Highway 21, Hamilton Airport is conveniently located 20 minutes south of Hamilton City’s CBD (14kms).
Servicing the greater Waikato region, the airport is approximately 20 minutes from Cambridge and Te Awamutu, 40 minutes from Otorohanga, 60 minutes from Rotorua and 90 minutes from Tauranga.
